For over 30 years I have as advised and assisted a wide variety of businesses with their accounting, taxation and financial requirements. I have developed expertise in advising business start-ups – who appreciate my ability to simplify the accounting and taxation processes.
Educated at St. Flannan’s College Ennis, I obtained a Training Contract with a locally-based firm of accountants and completed my studies in Limerick Institute Of Technology. I was admitted as a Member of The Institute Of Certified Public Accountants in August 2003 and was appointed a Fellow of The Institute in 2015.
In 2013, I set up William Halpin & Co. and thankfully the Practice has gone from strength to strength.
The growth in our Practice is due to in no small way to the loyalty of our Clients and the professionalism and dedication of our Staff.
Our clients are mainly small to medium sized ,owner managed businesses and we provide assurance and accountancy services across numerous sectors including manufacturing, retail, construction and hospitality within the practice.
Over the last few years we have assisted with New Start up Technology Companies based around Ireland and this is a growth sector for our Accountancy Practice.

Both I and my Staff are passionate about ensuring that clients receive a top class service.
This has been the corner stone of our practice since 2013.
Elizabeth Fogarty FCA is a chartered accountant who joined the practice in 2018. She trained in
practice in Dublin and has worked extensively in financial reporting for a number of multinationals
abroad and in Ireland.
She provides a personal, client focused, professional service to a diverse range of clients and has
significant experience across a wide variety of sectors and is responsible for accounts production, tax
compliance and Companies Office compliance.
She manages the finance function for a technology company client in Dublin providing monthly
management accounts, audit support, payroll function and all associated tax compliance whilst
liaising with the company stakeholders.
Joe is responsible for the Book keeping and Payroll Functions in our Office.
Joe joined William Halpin & Co in July 2019.
He previously worked in the Accounts / Payroll departments of Retail and Construction Companies.
He has over 10 years experience in Payroll and Bookkeeping and his experience is critical in dealing with the day to day issues that regularly occur.
